Safety and limitations

Aletheia supports preparation. It does not replace care.

This page explains what Aletheia can and cannot do, and how urgent-care guidance is kept separate from ordinary record review.

Educational content only

These pages do not interpret your personal records.

Educational pages explain Aletheia’s concepts, safety boundaries, and communication model. They are separate from user-specific interpretation, appointment summaries, symptom timelines, and Ask Aletheia responses.

Core boundary

Aletheia helps organise records and prepare questions. It does not diagnose, treat, triage, determine urgency, recommend medication changes, or replace clinical judgement.

Urgent-care guidance

If symptoms feel severe, sudden, rapidly worsening, or you are worried about immediate safety, seek urgent medical help or local emergency care. Do not wait for Aletheia to interpret the record.

Limitations

  • Aletheia only works from the information provided or imported.
  • It cannot confirm whether a symptom is serious, urgent, or benign.
  • It cannot determine whether a medication should be started, stopped, or changed.
  • It may miss context that a clinician would notice through examination, testing, or medical history.
  • Its outputs should be reviewed and edited before being shared.
